(1) The Government of Nepal shall constitute a Newspaper Distribution Scrutiny Committee in consultation with the Council.
(2) The committee constituted as per sub-section (1) shall have the following members:-
(a) Press Registrar – Chairman
(b) Representative, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology – Member
(c) Representative, Press Council – Member
(d) Three persons nominated by the Government of Nepal at the rate of one each from Auditing Association, Advertising Association or Agency and Commercial or Industrial Organization - Member
(3) The authorized committee designated by the council shall be the secretary.
(4) The term of office of the members nominated in accordance with clause (d) of sub-section (2) shall be two years.
